Greetings from the other side of "The Fence".As we "nail" the first half of the year and start looking over "the fence" into the second half of the year, we, as Texas Fence Association Members, should all be proud of what your membership in Texas Fence Association ("TFA") and American Fence Association ("AFA") have accomplished.
We have had two successful quarterly meetings this year.In March, at the Marriott in Fort Worth, things were really "flying" fast-from golf balls to bocce balls.June "led" us to place our "bets" on The Woodlands in Houston. We had a "hot dawg" of a good time with the celebration of being the "top dawg" of AFA (CHAPTER OF THE YEAR (again).
Thank you very much to our sponsors:

An educational opportunity for members was presented by "ISQFT" on June 25, sponsored by JAMIESON FENCE SUPPLY.Lots of great information was "calculated" and the attendance was "ruled" by many!
We will be "extending" the "construction" of this year by meeting at The Hilton at Bella Harbor in Rockwall, Texas-September 10-11.Look for more information to come soon to "finalize the proposal" for the weekend! We will have our annual Tailgate Party to celebrate our favorite team and to "figure" the "construction" of the last quarter of the year.
Please don't forget that:

Sunnyvale Fence and Ironworks, located in Forney, Texas, was recently awarded first place in the "National Project of the Year" competition at the annual American Fence Association (AFA) Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is the highest achievement a company can receive in the fence industry. Sunnyvale Fence's exceptional craftsmanship at the Grand Prairie Baseball Stadium, home of the Airhogs, was recognized for it's outstanding work on security fencing, suites railing, ADA ramp railings, field gates, and main entry to the stadium. Projects are judged on originality of design, quality of installation, management of materials, equipment, labor, and adherence to AFA's safety policies and Business and Ethical practices.
Sunnyvale Fence also won Runner-Up in the competition in 2007 for it's work at the Rockwall Harbor Project.
The AFA Awards Program recognizes members for outstanding service and commitment to the industry. Award recipients must be a member in good standing for a minimum of five years.
David Gregg and Chad Dunaway, Sunnyvale Fence Project Managers, worked hand in hand with Hill and Wilkinson Construction Company, General Contractor, to ensure this project was successfully completed and on schedule for the stadium's opening day.
Sunnyvale Fence and Ironworks has been in business for over forty years and is a leading contractor locally and in the DFW Metroplex. They have installed more than 82,000 projects, residential and commercial, across the DFW metroplex and as far away as Nashville, Tennessee.
