Saturday, October 21st we will host our annual golf tournament at Buffalo Creek with proceeds benefitting our Scholarship Fund. Winter is almost near its end and I think we are all ready for that Spring weather! We are ready for our 2020 Spring Meeting in Rockwall, TX! The Hilton Dallas Rockwall Lakefront is where we will be holding our meeting over looking the beautiful lake!

On Friday, March 27th, we will start the night off with our board meeting at 5:30, to be followed with Happy Hour from 6:30-7:30! Bring your appetite because dinner will be at 7:30 at the Pergola, partnered with our general meeting.

On Saturday, March 28th, we are working on having a live band for entertainment! We are pending the Boating ride over-looking the sunset. (more details to come). For those staying Saturday Night, we will have a group dinner!

December 6th & 7th

Our September event was at one of Texas’ newest and hottest hotels. Now let’s go to one of the oldest hotels in Texas. Our winter event will be held at The Menger Hotel located in San Antonio on Alamo Plaza. This Hotel was built in 1859, less than twenty year after the battle occurred! If you have never been to, or stayed at the Menger Hotel, give yourself an early Christmas present and come see your TFA family at our winter event!

Last year’s casino was the hit of the weekend! This year, we will put a western spin on it, so sidle up to the Big Ol’ Ranch Saloon themed shin-dig for a ‘rootin tootin’ good time. Again, we’ll be partying it up at the Renaissance Plano Legacy West Hotel, located in one of the most sought after areas in all of DFW.

Save some energy for Saturday morning as we head to the well-appointed Frisco Lakes Golf Club. This is your chance to win the coveted “Bill Turner Cup”. There’s always great competition, and a lot of well-meaning ribbing. Afterward, we all meet back at the clubhouse for burgers, beers, and awards.

This weekend’s events fund our scholarship program. Last year, we gave out over $10,000 dollars in scholarships and this year, we hope to give even more out. We need you to make this happen!
