Go to www.texasfenceassociation.org, on the right you will see “Upcoming Events” and click on “September 2015 – Galveston” and that will redirect you to the event page. Scroll to the bottom and click “Click to Pay Now” and follow the directions from there.

Accommodations

We have reserved a block of rooms for Friday September 11th and Saturday September 12th at the beautiful Moody Gardens Resort in Galveston, TX. The room rate will be $159.00 per night plus applicable taxes. You will need to make your own reservations at 1-888-388-8484, make sure and tell them you are with the Texas Fence Association in order to get the discounted room rate.

Meeting Agenda

Friday 11th
5:00 – 6:30: Board meeting
6:30 – 8:00: Cocktails & Dinner
8:00 – 9:30: Murder mystery with the group “They Improv”, we will be trying to solve the mystery of who shot the “Godmother”.

Saturday 12th
10:00 – 11:30: General meeting w/ speaker
There are several changes upcoming in January 2016 in regards to UL325. Chamberlain will be putting on a presentation showing these changes. I personally took this training and I highly recommend it if your company installs gate operators.

2:00 – 4:30: Optional tour of Galveston
“Cool Tours” offers a great tour of the island, starting with a bus tour of the historic district and the Victorian mansions. The bus will drop us off at the pier and from there we will board a tour boat that will take us around the harbor. After the boat tour, we will reboard the bus and they will complete the scenic tour.

6:30: Dinner at Guido’s
